Memorial Giving When someone close to us dies, we experience grief, sadness and ultimately an appreciation of all memories we have of that special person. A special way to honour the memory of a loved-one and fund vital work of SU QLD is to encourage your relatives, loved-ones and friends to make a gift in lieu of giving flowers. To inform friends and mourners of your preference, we suggest you include this request in your loved-one's notice. Approximately 3-4 weeks after the first donation is received, SU Qld will write to the next-of-kin informing them of all donations made in memory of their loved one.
